Amicus [Friends]
This guild was created on 4th of October 2007. Fundamental idea with it, is to keep it restricted to players that already know each other well, and have a good social relationship. We are NOT a raiding guild focused on progression, DKP earning, correct class setups, recruitment etc., we are here to enjoy the game. We are a small group of players, who has been playing together for already a very long time. We will handle everything on a "no fuzz" basis. As we are all mature grown up people, we wont need a bunch of written rules to keep things running. We don't expect to be able to raid x days a week - we expect to log on, have fun, and do whatever we fancy doing on that moment or day.... obviously it will include running some of the raiding instances, but we see it as normal instances. Built to have fun in! Amicus, let's play... !

New Amicus website for testing - please take a look :-)
Hi guys, We are starting to test a new Amicus website: Please have a look there, it's really cool with loads of nice features, such as automatic updated guild roster, guildbank, progression charts etc. It requires you to have a Curse.com account (which is free to get) Log in, and assign your main character to your account - quite simple. If people fancy this site, and are willing to put in a little contribution towards it, we will probably end up using that in the future (Yes, it's unfortunately not a free service). /Meng

Raid planning and signing up...
Hey guys,
We have decided to use the in-game calendar to plan raids. This also means that you must sign up, using the ingame calendar in the future.
Group Calendar is hereby no longer used as the official Amicus raid calendar.
A very nice handy feature of the ingame calendar, is you can sign up using Armory by logging in with your account.
One of the downsides of the calendar, is however, that the RaidLeader cannot manually put people on to the raid. So, if you have an interest in signing up for a raid, you must do this yourself using either Armory or the game itself.

Just a little update on things :) (raid, progression and REUNION)
Hey guys,
Long time since we had a news post on the frontpage, so I thought I would make a little one with various info.
First of all, as a follow-up to the second latest newspost, Amicus had another go in Ulduar not that long ago. This run went really smooth as well, according to Yonah several new additional bosses were downed that evening - leaving just very few left all together in Ulduar for try. Very well done!!
Now the summer holidays are close to an end, new raids for Ulduar and further will be put up again soon. Keep an eye out on the Calendar, or ask any of the officers for further details. Naxx raids are still being run, mainly on wednesdays, for those who needs to gear up.
Some of you might not have heard, but Saurion's account was hacked about a month ago. He is now restored, and hopefully he will be sorted with his game soon again.
Last, but certainly not least, an Amicus Reunion has been planned for the last weekend i september. Location this time is Nehterlands. Lidohqane is the main planner on this event, so please mail/whisper him for further details etc. Still lots of room for people to join on this weekend. So far 10-14 people have announced they will be coming - so, no doubt this will be a nice fun weekend! So wake up guys! Sign up for this, and get to know your game-buddies even better!
Cya ingame! Meng

Hi guys,
We have decided to replace GC with GEM in the future. So, please remove GC and install GEM version 3 instead
The developing team behind GC has decided to stop developing and enhancing it.
